Vanilla Milk Soak

Makes enough to moisten three 18-cm/7-inch cake layers.
  • 120g (or ½ cup) milk of choice*
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract of choice
  1. In a glass, stir together milk and vanilla.
  2. Drizzle or brush over cake layers before frosting.
* if you want to, you can sweeten the milk with some sugar. Warm the milk and add sugar to taste, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.
